  Air Duct Cleaning

  Planet Duct offers residential and commercial air duct cleaning in southern Colorado. Our NADCA certified technicians use air duct vacuum trucks that pull 13,000 CFM (cubic feet per minute) of airflow. The dust, dirt, pollen, dust mite, allergens and other contaminants are agitated with our pneumatic agitation tools and transported out to our truck (airship). The vents are covered with a protective masking material while your HVAC system is under constant negative pressure. This means nothing will be puffing out of the ducts while we work. The strong vacuum will be pulling air inward toward our vacuum the whole time. On smaller systems or ones where the truck cannot reach, we can use our HyperVac portable units that connect to the trunk lines. That vacuum is within 8 feet of the main trunks and pulls 5000 CFM. That is way more powerful than what a carpet cleaner or a coupon guy can do with his weak shop-vac.   Dryer Vent Cleaning

  Planet Duct cleans both residential and commercial dryer vents. We clean the dryer vent (duct) whether it is on the roof or the side of the house. We start on the outside and use a tool the pushes the lint out of the vent outside. Next we go behind the dryer and use another tool to push from the back of the dryer outward. We clean the lint trap and blow off the heating element. The area behind the dryer is cleaned up with a HEPA vacuum and then re-attached. A clogged dryer vent makes your clothes take longer to dry. It also wears out your dryer prematurely and is the number one cause of home fires in the United States. Planet duct also cleans out commercial dryer ducts. We cleans the dryer vents in coin laundries, hotels, assisted living facilities and other commercial spaces that do allot of laundry.   Bathroom Fan Duct Cleaning

  Planet duct cleans bathroom fan vents. We remove the fan cover and unplug the fan and remove it. The fan is hand wiped with and the vent is cleaned out with pneumatic agitation tools. The fan and cover are then re-installed.

  AC Coil Cleaning

  Planet Duct does Air conditioner coil cleaning. There are 2 different coils in your AC system. The Evapotor Coil is inside your furnace and cools the air as it passes over the coil. The Condenser coil is the large box in your yard with the fan inside. When the fins on the coils become soiled, they lose their efficiency and your HVAC system has to run longer to reach the desired temperature. The increased run time leads to increased energy costs and premature system failure. Our technicians can clean the coils which will restore efficiency and help eliminate odors from microbial growth.
