  Kristin Starcher

  Business Operations Manager

  Kristin joined our team in January of 2006. Kristin is essential in handling the daily function of the Pueblo and Colorado Springs Offices in day to day business operations. She assists the agents as the District SiMS Specialist and helps Laurie with getting life policies through the underwriting process in a timely manner as needed. She is in charge of the day to day operations of the District, including but not limited to, maintaining the district staff calendars, assisting agents with smart office requirements, district budget and bills.

  Alyssa Carey

  District Recruiter

  Alyssa joined our team in May of 2017 as a Recruiter. Her responsibilities are to find the quality candidates that fit into our agency opportunity and guide our new agents through the process of taking over an agency. Prior to joining Farmers Insurance, Alyssa was the Vice President of a small business here in Colorado Springs. She brings to the table business ownership knowledge and experience that will assist in guiding new agents to business ownership.

  John Ivan

  Agency Business Consultant

  John recently became the Head of District recruiting. John joined the District in January 2015. Prior to that he served as Claims Director for one of the largest independent appraisal companies in the United States. John has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and started his career with Farmers from 1989 through 2008 and last served as Claims Manager. John is excited to be back with the Farmers family and is committed to helping our agents grow and succeed and is committed to providing world class service to our customers.

  Charity Roth

  District Trainer

  Charity started as the District CSR in February 2014, answering phones, and assisting clients with any issues, and various other jobs. In May 2015, she started as a District Staff Coordinator, a position that was needed for new Career and Acquisition/Seed agents. In January of 2017, she became a District Trainer. She meets with new staff at the agent’s offices and goes over how to put systems into place to help the office run smoothly. Her goal is to show staff how to productively and efficiently perform all tasks in the office, so that the agent can be out marketing. She also helps problem shoot any issues that may come up with clients, guiding the staff or agent in what steps to take.

  Tina Bauer

  District Administrative Assistant

  Tina joined the District Office Team in December 2018 as the District Administrative Assistant. She assists the District Manager by scheduling appointments as well as creating and updating reports to track the progress of the agents in the district. She is also in charge of maintaining the office. Tina came to us all the way from Fischbach, Germany.

  J.T. Peterson

  Head of Sales

  J.T. returned to Colorado Springs to rejoin our District Team as the Head of Sales. He began his career in 2000 as a personal lines and financial services agent building a scratch agency to over 2,300 households. In 2007 he joined Kevin Shriver’s team as the Reserve District Manager in Pueblo. In 2008, J.T. advanced his career taking over as the District Manager in Fort Collins. His northern Colorado District was a consistently among the territory leaders in premium growth and won numerous performance awards along with qualifying for Championship, Toppers Club, and FNWL 100 Year Celebration.
